A decent place to relax with the family. There's plenty of snow in winter, the rooms are good, and the food is okay.

The rooms were filthy, and even after reminding them several times, I still had to ask for cleaning and for shampoo and soap. Winter was miserable because the rooms were so cold. We asked for the temperature to be changed over two days, but the room stayed cold. I mentioned it to the manager at checkout, and he didn't seem to care. Customer service was nonexistent. This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in Armenia.

The cottage worked well for our group: it was a three-storey house with five bedrooms and room for 12 adults and 5 children. There was a kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, and sink, plus a living room with a TV. Breakfast was included. Set in the forest, the hotel has beautiful scenery in both summer and winter. I've stayed in Tsakhkadzor often, and this was my best holiday there, a great place for a group getaway.

The surroundings, inside and out, were the only good part. The food was awful, cold, and, I think, two days old. The staff were impolite and didn't seem to care about guests or know how to do their jobs. After 22:00, there's nothing you can do, and after one day I was already bored because there was nothing to do. It's not worth paying so much for this place.

We usually prefer cottages. In the larger ones, the big plus is that four of the five bedrooms each have their own bathroom.
