The four-bed bunk dorm was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. Each bed had enough plugs. There was a window, a kettle, fridge, private bath and toilet in the room, plus tea bags, two towels, and a toothbrush. I had the room to myself. It's actually a bar cafe, so weekdays are quiet, though I'm not sure about weekends. Breakfast costs 1000 dram.

Breakfast was really tasty, and Arthur is a very kind manager. We had a great stay at this fantastic hotel.

For 5000 AMD a night, it’s good value. The bed and bedding were cozy, and the price felt right. The room is tiny and has no windows, but that didn’t bother me. Breakfast was 1000 AMD and nice. The staff were friendly, and the shower and toilets are right beside the room. There’s also a restaurant café on site.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially for several nights. I booked two nights and hadn’t expected the constant noise, the uncomfortable dorm, or being locked inside. When I asked for a refund, the woman refused and said I’d seen the room before paying. That wasn’t the only issue. I should’ve done what I usually do and paid for one night first to see how it went. The room is a single bedroom with two bunk beds, and it’s too small for four people. There are no curtains or personal lights, and the bed was uncomfortable. I took a bottom bunk at check-in, then had to change because the other guest was using the charging points in my area and I didn’t want wires running over my bed. He moved around all night, making the bed frame squeak. The other guest claimed space all over the room, with his things on the floor, toiletries spread around the washroom, underwear hanging in the window, and a bad-smelling banana in the fridge. He left a lot of feces in the toilet after using it. He wore very heavy hiking boots, stomped and banged them around, and dragged a chair at night. He went through my bag of garbage, put food waste into the fridge even though it wasn’t switched on, and hung up my bag and started using it. He smelled strongly of unwashed clothes and body odor. The hotel seems to accept anyone into the dorm, and I found it disgraceful that I was put in there with him. Noise from staff phones and other gadgets was unbearable. They kept ringing and dinging at full volume, with the same sounds repeating constantly. I could hear the reception noise and traffic even from the end of the corridor, and I felt sorry for guests in private rooms near reception. It says there’s a 5000 fine for smoking, but I could smell smoke in my room at night. The night watchman was smoking in the lobby while I sat there, and the smell was very strong. That felt like a double standard. The entrance door is locked at night, and at 6 and 7 in the morning it was still locked, with no key in it. I called out for ages and nobody came. Being locked in without anyone around felt like a prison, and seems like a fire hazard. There wasn’t even a bin in reception. In the morning, a woman told me to put food waste in the dorm room, which made no sense. The staff were okay in some ways, but the noise from their gadgets was far too much.
