Kanach tun (Green home)

Each day we tried some local wines before dinner, sitting on the terrace and looking out across the valley. The menu was extensive, with lots of delicious dishes freshly made for us, and we enjoyed meeting Ani, our host, who speaks excellent English. She and Movses went above what was expected to give us a wonderful experience at Kanach Tun. The hotel is a delightful place in the hills above Ijevan, close to mountain trails. We were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home.

The wooden cabins sit beautifully within the stunning natural landscape, and they’re cozy and charming inside. Warm, welcoming staff made the whole experience even more comfortable. It’s a memorable guesthouse for anyone wanting a peaceful escape or a place to explore the surrounding nature.

Surrounded by lovely landscapes, it’s a peaceful retreat from everyday life. The natural setting makes the whole experience feel almost magical.
