The room was spacious, the location was excellent, and the sheets and towels were spotless. Having a free parking space assigned to us was a real plus. The air conditioning wasn’t working well, and the bathroom had no ventilation. The living room furniture also seemed a bit chaotic compared with the online photos. I liked having a Lungo coffee machine, but there were no capsules for it.

I stayed at the Opera Suite Hotel Yerevan for a week and still had more things I wanted to do on holiday. The hotel’s location gave me plenty to do nearby. I enjoyed my stay and plan to come back next time I’m in Yerevan.

The location made it easy to walk to lots of things, but the lobby was full of smoke as soon as we came in. Every elevator had the same problem, so if you don’t smoke, I’d suggest staying elsewhere. Our room was large, but it wasn’t clean. We were there for four nights, and the sheets were dirty and had a hole in them, which made it clear they hadn’t been changed. We never got fresh towels either. We asked for the room to be cleaned, but nothing was cleaned. We’ll come back to Yerevan, but unfortunately not to this hotel, even though the location is good.

The hotel feels a little old, and you can see that the rooms and other areas have had a lot of use. They could use a refresh. The staff were very friendly, though I think they need a bit more training. For example, they should know how to check guests in and what to do straight away when a key card doesn’t work.
