Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan

The location is perfect, but the room felt outdated and the service left me disappointed. After a long trip from Asia, I arrived on March 8, 2026. Check-in went smoothly, and I carried two big suitcases to room 543, hoping to rest soon because my wife had a stomach problem. The key they gave us wouldn’t open the door. I went back to reception to ask why, and it turned out they had given me the wrong key. They didn’t even apologize. I hope the Marriott teaches its staff good manners. Rudy Gomedi room 458.

We were on the 7th floor. The room was in decent condition, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. Housekeeping cleaned properly and on time, respected the Do Not Disturb sign, and always provided water. There are all the facilities you need, money exchange downstairs, and the location is excellent. The food in the salon was delicious, with breakfast and dinner changing each time. Service felt personal and attentive. Special thanks to Moris and Varduhi for looking after the kids. I saw the feedback and ratings after booking and almost changed hotels, so I’m really glad I stayed. The price and quality are decent, and I’d come back without hesitation. This hotel deserves much better ratings. The main thing to improve is how long room service takes. Simple pasta for kids shouldn’t take an hour, and kids’ meals should come quickly. We also waited more than 40 minutes for the kids’ soup in the downstairs restaurant. Hungry children can’t wait that long, and it’s hard to anticipate the delay. That really needs to improve. The breakfast setup was a letdown: for such a big hotel, especially in high season, the area felt surprisingly small and there were long waits just to get seated. The layout also means a lot of walking, since there are so many wings between the rooms and facilities. Everything seemed worn and dated, from the corridors to the rooms. My room was particularly disappointing: the bed was damaged, with worn springs that made loud noises whenever I moved, and sleeping on it caused serious back pain. The bathroom was very dirty and clearly not maintained, and cleanliness overall was far below expectations. The room didn’t have any lights 😃😃😃😃. I’ve stayed in Yerevan before, including at Radisson Blu Yerevan and The Alexander Yerevan, and both were much better for comfort, cleanliness, and service. Marriott Yerevan is extremely old and not worth staying in. I can’t believe it’s under Marriott. I wouldn’t recommend it and definitely wouldn’t return.

Having restaurants on site was handy, with good dining choices without having to leave. Management were kind and welcoming, and the location made it easy to see the city and nearby attractions. I had an enjoyable stay at the Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan.
