I ended up leaving and cancelling my booking. During a work meeting, someone started repairing the shower and ignored my request to come back later. The towels looked like dirty napkins, and the toilet kept running and making a sound like a little spring creek. You could also be stuck waiting more than five hours for towels to dry. If that's the kind of stay you want, fine, but otherwise staying here is a bad idea.

They don't accept cards, and the family room is very small. The beds have broken sides, the cabinet doors are broken and don't feel safe, and there are no shower shelves. The closet isn't properly fixed in place. The TV is above your head and doesn't seem securely mounted either.

For a three-star place, the hotel was decent value, with a good location and fair price. It wasn't very clean, though, and the bad smell bothered us. Breakfast wasn't self-service. Most of the guests there seemed to be Iranian students looking for US visas. The manager was an Iranian man, and one staff member was Iranian too, but the rest of the staff spoke neither Farsi nor English.

I was so tired that I just needed a bed to lie down and rest, and didn't really have another choice. The cleanliness was rough, but okay. The receptionist was really good and helped me a lot. It felt like we were playing charades, but I appreciated her help.

I arrived at 8:00 pm on my reservation day and had forgotten to let them know I'd be late. Then a friend called to say they'd arrived in yerevan, and I decided to switch hotels and stay with them. The staff were so friendly about it. They cancelled my reservation without charging me and even offered coffee while I waited for my taxi. I'll definitely come back.
