Classic Apartment on Kievyan

Awful place. The building is ugly and very dark inside, the room smells bad, the mattress is uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work downstairs in the room. There’s no breakfast option, and the shared bathroom is very old. Nobody speaks English except one woman whose English is very limited, and she seems to be there for only two hours in the evening. When I first asked about reserving a room, they told me to come in and pay to hold it. I couldn’t get there soon, and later they said it was already booked. The next morning I booked a room on Booking.com at a place with a different name. To my surprise, it turned out to be the same classic hostel, now called a boutique hotel. They offered a discount from the Booking.com rate, but it was still higher than the price they’d quoted me the night before.
