The shower leaked, the mattress had springs sticking out, and the heater didn’t work. Half the room was glass, so we spent several nights freezing and feeling unsafe. Reception wouldn’t fix the heater or move us, even though we had booked a twin room and were given a king bed. The advertised bidet wasn’t there either, and our booked breakfast was canceled because of “staffing issues.” The whole stay was a disaster from beginning to end. Avoid booking here if you don’t want your stay ruined.

I found the location really convenient, with the city center, supermarkets, cafes, and exchange offices all within walking distance. The staff were welcoming and quick to help whenever I needed something. My room was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning. It was on a lower level, but still felt cozy and peaceful. I had a fantastic stay at Friendly Hotel in Yerevan. It was great value for the price, and I’d happily come back. I recommend it to anyone visiting Yerevan.

We were placed in a different hotel. They said the building belonged to a friendly hotel, but it turned out to be an MBM hotel. We were told there were no rooms because they’d forgotten to remove the listing from booking. That was odd, since booking.com still showed rooms available. The MBM hotel room was dirty and hadn’t been made ready. It had dirt marks, and the cups and spoons were dirty too. I wouldn’t stay there again.

No ventilation, no fan, no AC, no kettle, and no water bottle. The bathroom was broken, the place was really noisy, and the used bedsheet was still on the bed. I asked for another one, and they kindly gave it to me but told me to put it on myself. If you want to experience a bunker jail, go there.
