⭐️⭐️ The steam sauna never produced any steam, even after I brought it up to the spa staff several times, and nothing changed. I also tried the jacuzzi on three days in a row, but each time the water was very cold, more like a cold pool. Reception told me it was “cold by default,” which I don't think is acceptable for a five-star hotel. I've used jacuzzis in other five-star hotels before. The temperature here was only 25-28°C, while I understand around 35°C to be the appropriate temperature by international standards. I asked the staff about it several times and got the same explanation each time, with no fix. The water just wasn't suitable for a jacuzzi. Spa facilities advertised by a five-star hotel should meet basic standards, and this part of my stay was very disappointing.

The room was clean and nice, and otherwise everything was okay. But we barely slept on either of our two nights because the temperature was stuck around 24 to 25.5 Celsius. Each room has a thermostat, but lowering it made no difference, so it seemed like the setting was preset. We called several times about the constantly changing hot and cold water too, but the issue was never resolved.

The service was quick, helpful, and thoughtful, and the food was fresh and good. I also found the spa and hot tub relaxing, and would recommend giving them a try. The location is wonderful, though Armenia itself didn't appeal to me as much. The rooms have a nice vintage feel, and I felt comfortable, almost like royalty.

The antique-style rooms are beautiful, and the hotel itself is really nice. The staff were all polite and helpful, especially Lusine at reception. We had two bathroom issues in one room, and they didn't seem to take them seriously at first. After we complained three times, they did agree to move us to another room. I'd still recommend it for the location, decor, and staff.
