The man at reception was kind and tried to explain what had gone wrong. He let us come in while we searched for somewhere else to stay. If you book online through Booking or a similar site, you may arrive to find there isn't a room for you. Their booking system apparently doesn't sync with those listings, so they receive the confirmation but don't update their own records. I was told this happens often in Yereven, so calling or emailing, or booking through another in-person provider, may be better.

The owner was very kind and welcoming, and this seems like a good option if you're traveling solo. It's good value for the price. The hostel is small, with about six rooms, including private single rooms and shared rooms, and the bathrooms are shared. There's also a small kitchen. I'd rate the location 8 out of 10 and cleanliness 7.5 out of 10.

Armand, the owner, is very kind, and both the location and price are excellent. It's called a hotel, but it's really a hostel, though you can book a private room. The bathroom is shared. Cleanliness could be better, and the room had an unpleasant smell. I suspect it might be mold in the air vents.

The rooms are small, but the manager is friendly and the location is right in the heart of Yerevan. They let you leave your luggage there so you can wander around until your flight.
