Kantar Hotel

I met so many great people from around the world here, including the staff, and I’d probably stay again if I return to Armenia. The price for what you get is hard to beat. The hostel is very clean, and reception is open around the clock. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. One receptionist is a professional chess player, so challenge him when you visit. It’s close enough to the center that I walked to all the main places. Towels are provided, and there’s paid laundry plus a few other small services. Breakfast is included, with a good range of food and protein choices, and the main dish changes each day.

The breakfast alone was incredible for a hostel, it felt like a full spread and was better than what I’ve had at five-star hotels. The place is well located, nicely decorated, and has a lively feel, with good people around. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, easily a 10.

The rooms were quiet, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. It’s also in a perfect location and happened to be reasonably priced. The whole place is exceptionally well run, with staff taking care of any issues.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a lovely view of Mount Ararat. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The location was good, and breakfast was better than at most hotels in Western Europe.
