The owner Arevik was so nice and helpful, and helped us a lot with our travels around Armenia. We’re looking forward to staying with her again when we return to Yerevan. Like Home is a lovely guesthouse near the edge of central Yerevan, clean and comfortable, with nice beds, a kitchen, and a lounge room.

Arevik was a wonderful host. We felt at home, and her suggestions made our trip to Armenia unforgettable. We weren’t sure about going to Tatev and wondered if it was just another mountain, but she was right. Our one-night stay there was fantastic. We went hiking, visited the church, and ate local Armenian food. Thank you so much, Arevik. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Armenia again.

Getting to Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery is straightforward: catch bus 63 or 53 to the Mercedes (Gai) bus station, where the first bus to Garni leaves at 9:30 a.m. For Sevan Lake, take bus 46 to the Northern bus station, then minibus 651 toward Dilijan. The one-way fare is 1000AMD, and you can ask the driver to stop at Sevanavank monastery. The house itself was very clean, the room felt cozy, and the bathroom was kept clean. The host was helpful. For local buses, use the stop on the main road, Khaniyan street, without crossing the street.
