Mirage Hotel

The rooms were very large and clean, with hot water and good pressure. The ACs weren’t all new, but they worked somehow. The furniture could be more practical and not so monumentally big. We ordered breakfast from the menu, and it arrived much later than expected, though it was good. There are both large and small supermarkets a couple of minutes’ walk away. We might actually rate the hotel higher. They don’t speak English at all, so you really need to speak Russian. After a terrible experience with booking.com, where two apartments we’d booked didn’t exist and booking.com wanted the money but was completely lost when it came to dealing with the fraudsters in Yerevan, we found this hotel. They let us look at the available rooms first, and then we picked ours. Thanks for giving us a few good nights in Yerevan after those really bad experiences. As I said, though, it probably wouldn’t have been possible without speaking Russian.

Most of the staff don’t speak English, and I honestly can’t understand why this hotel has such a high rating. We stayed at Mirage Hotel Yerevan for three 😤days, and every morning the breakfast was the same boiled eggs, cucumbers, and tomatoes, with no variety at all. We had to take our breakfast dishes and trash outside the room ourselves. The AC in our room didn’t work, so we were freezing all night and even caught a cold.

The service wasn’t clean at all, and the staff were very rude. During breakfast, the lady there touched the bread with her bare hands and no gloves. This is one of the worst hotels you could choose.

The staff weren’t helpful and couldn’t speak even simple everyday English. Breakfast was awful, served in the rooms, and consisted only of egg, tomato, cucumber, and bread that wasn’t fresh.
