Nor Erevan Hotel

The central location was great, just a five-minute walk from Republic Square, Vernissage, and the main street, Hussesayin Pogota aka North Boulevard. The premises were always clean, and Anahit, the chef, served a varied menu of delicious, fresh local food. We loved how friendly and helpful everyone was. Karlen and Sevak were always there to answer our questions, and it was a joy getting to know the whole staff. We haven't had service this exceptional in a long time. Nor Yerevan is now in a nicely equipped, very clean building right in the city center, just a two-minute walk from Republic Square. The kitchen is on the first floor, and Jean Paul existential cafe, one of the most epic spots in the city center, is right next to the hotel. The hotel was renovated in spring 2017 and had a different name before that. It wasn't very nice then, so the old reviews are about the previous hotel, which no longer exists.

After two weeks here, I’d happily choose this hotel again. The price was great, the room stayed clean, and the reception was helpful. The staff were kind and polite, always ready to answer my questions. I also met some nice people during my stay. I’d recommend it if you’re after a cozy place.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, but the room could have been better. There was a cigarette smell, the bathroom fittings were old, and the place overall felt only partly fresh.
