Nork Residence Hotel

The hotel is a long way from the city center, though the price is good for what you get. My room was clean and good, with an amazing morning view. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke English. Breakfast was very limited and the same each day, and the furniture could use an upgrade. Service was average.

The staff are the reason I gave even one star. The room wasn’t clean enough, and the very old bed was uncomfortable. I don’t understand why it hasn’t been replaced or renewed. The location is nice, near Mega mall, and buses or taxis make it easy to get to central Yerevan. The owners should renew the rooms; in their current state, I can’t recommend booking here.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s far from the center, so getting around takes a lot of time and money. The rooms are small for the number of people assigned to them, and there’s no kettle, meaning you have to buy hot water or tea outside. That’s odd for a 4star hotel. Breakfast is poor quality, like what you’d expect at a one star or maybe 2stars hotel, and the Wi-Fi was out for a couple of days during my stay. Staff didn’t offer help with visiting Yerevan attractions on our own. Instead, they pushed expensive city tours that included places with free entrance.

Disaster. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel. Mr. Firouzmandi is a real con man, and his wife is impolite. The staff were rude and didn’t pay attention to customers’ requests. The pool was dirty, there was no heating equipment, and the sauna and hot tub were malfunctioning. Mr Farsad, a tour leader who works with the hotel and agencies, is a real hustler and liar. I’ll give a lenient 3 stars.
