Primer hotel

Breakfast was great, with a different menu on each of the three days we stayed. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The hotel is outside the city center, but you can get everywhere by bus. They provide a kettle and water, but tea is only served at breakfast, and there are no slippers, which can be a little inconvenient.

The apartment-style room was big, and I’d give it 5/5. Location gets 4/5: near the city and Mother Armenia. Food was okay, 3/5, but one middle-aged woman kept standing by the door watching and waiting for us to finish, so we couldn’t eat properly. Cleanliness gets 3/5 because the sofa pillows smelled really bad. There was water, shampoo, bath gel, and soap, but no hair dryer or slippers. Service was okay overall: the older lady was super nice, the front desk person communicated in English, and you can weigh your luggage. The stay felt safe and fine.

The hotel was good value for the money, with spacious rooms, a welcoming staff, and a high level of comfort. There’s a swimming pool on site, though I didn’t get a chance to use it. Downtown isn’t within walking distance, but there’s a bus stop nearby, so getting around is easy.

Victory Park is an easy walk from here, and it’s a lovely spot for a stroll in summer. We found the location very convenient too, about a 10-minute taxi ride from central Yerevan. The room was really clean, and although we only stayed one night, the polite staff tried to help us arrange a rental car. The place itself was pretty standard. Breakfast was the letdown: there wasn’t much choice beyond cheese, butter, bread, and boiled eggs.
