The host was fabulous, and the location made everything super convenient. The rooms and facilities are great too. Definitely worth staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

We only stayed for one night, but the welcome was very warm. The location is great, and the owners are easy to talk to and happy to accommodate you. A lovely spot.

Mosquitoes in the room kept us awake until the early hours every night. By the time we managed to sleep, we were exhausted and the mosquitoes had already had their fill. The room was small and stuffy, the bedding too hot and not breathable. Opening the window let the mosquitoes in, while throwing off the blanket meant lying there soaked from the stuffiness and getting bitten. In 2022, having no window screens or fumigators in Armenia was unacceptable. There was a bulky, pointless chest of drawers taking up space. Since there was no reason to put things in the drawers, it only worked as a shelf. The kitchen had no large teacups, just small coffee cups in different sizes, and there wasn't even tea for guests. Laundry cost 2000 AMD (~$5). The furniture and appliances were in good or new condition, so it wasn't immediately obvious that they seemed to only clean the floors. The restroom had a cloth hand towel that wasn't changed during our five-day stay, despite 7-9 guests using it. Bring your own slippers, since people wear outdoor shoes inside. Without the insects, this would have been a mediocre hostel with mediocre hygiene, and more expensive than what it offers, though you know what you're getting. But those nightly insects made the stay unacceptable.
