White House Hotel

I’ve been in Armenia for 39 days now, staying at White House Hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very good, and the food is amazing. The swimming pool is really good, too, with an amazing bar. I also tried hookah for the first time, three or four times, and it was very good. I think White House Hotel is the best in all of Armenia.

Just perfect.

Very poor stay. The photos of the room and bathroom below aren’t the ones shown in the listing. The food had no taste, and the woman working there discourages guests with her expression. The only plus was the outdoor pool, though hotel guests have to pay extra to use it. Room 309’s entrance door was damaged and the flush was broken. The water was turned off overnight, and so was the Wi-Fi. To get Wi-Fi, you have to go downstairs to reception. At 43 degrees Celsius outside, they switch off the air conditioning when guests are away. The feather pillows aren’t suitable for people with allergies. When I wanted to take out the trash, they pointed me to a container on the street about 300 meters from the hotel.

There’s a Lebanese restaurant next to the hotel, markets nearby, and a mall about a 10-minute walk away. There’s no free breakfast, and access to the pool costs 3000 dirhams. I spent a full week here and found it clean, with helpful staff and good service. The lady at reception was especially helpful. I recommend it.
