Antonica at the host stand really made me feel welcome. Her warm manner, smile, and politeness stood out, and everyone else was kind, respectful, and professional too. I’ve flown for more than 18 years and stayed in hotels across Africa and elsewhere, but InterContinental Luanda still impressed me from the moment I walked in. The food was a big part of it. Breakfast had an incredible buffet, dinner was even better, and I kept eating past the point of being full. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. The building, room design, and finishes also felt top class, with spacious, elegant, modern rooms and lots of attention to detail. If you’re visiting Luanda, I’d stay at the InterContinental. I left very impressed.

Breakfast felt like a little celebration of starting over: tropical fruit, warm bread, and strong coffee. The pool sat under the Angolan sky, with blue above and below, while the bright, modern gym offered a place to keep up your strength during a trip. The InterContinental Luanda Miramar overlooks the city from its hill, and from the rooms the ocean and coastline stretch out in views that shift from morning light to evening fire. The horizon seems endless and makes you stop and think. The hotel itself feels orderly and carefully kept, from gleaming marble and crisp air to the soft linens and quiet corridors. The staff were precisely courteous, and the luxury came across in a calm, understated way. In a city full of motion and ambition, the hotel gave me more than comfort. It felt like a bit of elevation, a reminder that beauty and order can sit together even on a distant shore.

I was comfortable in the spacious, bright rooms, which felt thoughtfully laid out. The staff were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was a highlight, with lots of tasty choices. Its convenient location also makes it a good fit for business travel. A very enjoyable stay.

During my September 24 to 28 stay, I found the staff courteous, professional, and ready to help. The restaurants in the hotel served a range of delicious cuisines, with a high level of service. The facilities were modern, clean, and well maintained. I especially valued the strong safety and security standards, which made me feel at ease. InterContinental Luanda is one of the best places to stay in the city for comfort, safety, and quality hospitality. I’d choose it again next time.
