My family and I had a fairly pleasant weekend stay, including the facilities, but the strong chemical smell we noticed this morning was concerning. It was in the corridor and lower levels. My wife asked the front desk receptionist about it, and he said the building had just been fumigated. I’m not sure whether it was insecticide treatment or flying insect control, but the fumes were noticeable throughout those areas. Hotels should disclose information like this, since some guests may have respiratory or allergic reactions. My six-year-old son did. I’d suggest closing one tower and moving guests to the other while treatment is done, then following the same process for the second tower. Notices at the front desk or signs warning guests before check-in would help too. Please consider these suggestions and don’t dismiss them outright.

I'm quarantining here now, and every morning at 6 am staff slam doors in the kitchen below my room and wake me up. I've complained to reception daily, but nothing changes. Whenever I ask for the manager, there never seems to be one available. I asked to move rooms and was told it wasn't possible. The staff are disrespectful, the food arrives ice cold, the Wi-Fi is slow, and the phone in my room is broken. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I’m here for quarantine and don’t know what else to say. The room gets noisy every day, with early morning door sounds and something like a chair being dragged across the floor. Meals are awkward too. Breakfast arrives at 10 am from the same special menu every day, with no choice. Lunch is at 2 pm and dinner at 8 pm. I’m Asian and not used to that kind of breakfast. You only get one bottle of mineral water per day. Wi-Fi is slow and the TV signal is very poor.

The room has what you need, a good bed and bathroom, and it was clean. Some of the staff really need training, even starting with responding when guests say “bom dia.” Breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30, but the fruit takes another half hour to arrive. Asking for it seemed to bother the waiters. Strange attitude.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were nice, which is a pity because several other things let the stay down. They demand payment up front, though that wasn't shown on the booking sites. The air conditioning barely works and is basically just a fan, and there was a drain problem. Food was average at best and low quality for the price. It feels like accountants are setting cost-cutting rules that aren't good for guests.
