iu Hotel Sumbe

The restaurant staff were excellent on every shift, and the food was well prepared. The hotel is relatively new, clean and hygienic, and it has an elevator. I recommend staying here rather than at the beach hotels, though it has some real problems. The reception employee named Magalhães was rude and seemed untrained. He showed no interest in resolving issues and didn't seem to understand that guests pay his salary. According to him, towels, even dirty or wet ones, can only be replaced every two days, so guests have to find their own solution if they need fresh ones sooner. He also didn't know where the hotel's storage room was.

It's 7:30 and breakfast still hasn't been served. Then they came to say they only have sliced bread. The rest is reasonable.

The rooms are good, but the service is very weak. Breakfast was very poor for a hotel of this quality.

Their rules are unreasonable. They ask every guest for a document, even a one-year-old child. That's very negative. They should change this policy.
