Cyan Wenelen Vaca Muerta

I really liked the staff, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was very complete too. The location is good, although walking to the YPF gas station at night can feel a little scary if you’re a woman, since the area is a bit of a no-man’s land. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped, but the walls are thin enough that you hear everything. Some rooms are outside the hotel, so getting to them means a long, freezing walk. In my room, the terrace door didn’t shut properly, which made me feel unsafe because I worried someone could break in.

There’s a beautiful pool, and the hotel has both a dry sauna and a steam sauna, though the steam one wasn’t working. The hotel has large shared spaces and very good rooms, but they’re noisy. Breakfast was very basic, and the food selection could be better.

Catalina handled the reservation by phone and was clear and very kind. Marcelo welcomed us at the hotel and gave us spectacular service. We had a fantastic stay and celebrated New Year in Añelo. Everything was amazing, from the room to the pool and breakfast. Thanks for everything, and have a wonderful New Year! 😃

After spending the day battling the steppe’s dust and wind, arriving here feels like finding a civilized refuge in the desert. The staff make the stay: they welcome you with real warmth and seem to anticipate what you need. The restaurant is a treat too. Its intense flavors and comforting textures make the food feel like more than just a meal, and it can revive even a worn-out traveler. Then there’s the bathroom bidet, with pressure so powerful and precise it feels like a force of nature. It left me feeling refreshed, body and soul. When so many faucets are weak, this hotel feels like a last keeper of genuine comfort. That epic hydrotherapy really does make you feel like you’ve finally come home.
