Bonita Lake House - Hostel & Bungalows

The people at Bonita made the stay for me. The volunteers are warm, lively, and full of useful tips, and I’ve made good friends there. The location works well too, between the city and circuito chico, about 50m from bonita beach, with bus stops nearby and a supermarket an 8-minute walk away. For a stay in Bariloche, I’d pick Bonita!!!

The crew really makes this hostel special. They have a lot of fun together, make guests feel at home, and are ready with all the help and information you need. They also cook a delicious meal once or twice a week at a very reasonable price. Our private double room was comfortable, though we could hear some noise. And the view is really nice too.

We ended up staying six nights instead of the three we planned, and the people were a big reason why. Clari, Santi, and the rest were so welcoming, with plenty of great advice and tips. They were happy to accommodate us traveling in a camper van. The little common area feels cozy, there's good wine and beer, and the front deck has gorgeous views. They even make the breakfast bread and empanadas from scratch, which is impressive.

I got in late on my first night and was welcomed straight into an Argentinian Bbq with amazing cuts of beef and a few beers. Such a great experience. The staff are all friendly and speak English well, and the lake views are beautiful. This is one of the best hostels in South America. I’ll be back!
