Cabaña Llavu Lemu

The forest around the cabins made us feel peaceful and happy, and the place itself is gorgeous, warm, and very comfortable. You can see the care and love in the details. Hugo and Estela were especially kind and attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We first came to San Carlos de Bariloche and stayed in their downtown apartment, where we were extremely happy with our hosts. This time we chose them again and stayed in the cabins nestled in the forest. It exceeded our expectations again. We’re leaving with beautiful family memories and will definitely return.

We came as a family to Cabaña Artemisa in summer, when it was 32°C, and the experience was INCREDIBLE. We wished we could have stayed longer. The property has its own private forest, the crown jewel for us. Our daughter loved the hammocks under the trees, and there’s a wonderful lake viewpoint for drinking mate. The hosts also let us take free walks through the forest on the property. We didn’t use the grill because of the drought and our concern for the environment. The cabin is ideal if you have a car. It’s away from the center, so you avoid rush-hour traffic, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the quiet of the cabin. A Todo supermarket is four minutes away by car, and the highway access is easy. Upstairs are the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a balcony over the forest and was breathtaking. I slept in complete silence, which was great for unwinding after city life. The double bunk bed mattresses were comfortable too. Downstairs stayed cool, and even though it was very hot, I only needed the fan upstairs for one night. There are two balconies, one off the main bedroom and one by the entrance, both lovely and cool. The kitchen has excellent quality equipment for cooking as you would at home. I cooked meat, and the extractor fan worked so well there was no lingering smell. The bathroom was just like the pictures, with excellent water pressure and temperature. The gas alarm was a thoughtful safety feature. We also enjoyed the TV with YouTube Premium. Wi-Fi can be slow sometimes, but that wasn’t a problem since we wanted to disconnect. Service was impeccable. They changed the sheets and took out the trash every two days, and the place stayed spotless. Hugo and Stella work hard to keep it that way, notice every detail, and respect your privacy. One day the water heater went out because of the wind. We told them, and they came straight over to turn it back on, apologizing a lot. They were fantastic. A completely positive stay. We want to come back with more people and try the bigger cabin. Thanks, Hugo and Stella!

The wooded property is clean, and the cabin is top-notch with all the amenities. The owners are attentive when you need something and respect the peace and quiet you came for. It’s 21 km from downtown Bariloche, which was no problem with our own car. Being able to bring pets is a big plus.

We’ve visited twice, once in summer and once in winter, and got to stay in both cabins. They were super comfortable, and the scenery around them is incredible, great for couples or families. Huguito and Estela were very kind. We left absolutely thrilled. Excellent, highly recommended!
