We stayed five nights in January 2026, two adults and three children, and Cabana Bigua was just the right size. It was clean and comfortable, with wonderful views from the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large fridge, and the living area had a nice TV where we could log in to Netflix and Disney+. Breakfast in the shared dining area was nice, with enough choices for our family. The kids enjoyed the playground and grassy area, and we made use of the pool and game room every day. Kayaks were available too, and the hotel views are amazing. Lorena gave a wonderful massage. The small fitness room had a good treadmill, some light and medium dumbbells, and a multi-machine, enough for a decent workout. My only criticism is that it wasn't open very early. Access at 6 or 7 a.m. would have been nice, though there must be a reason for those hours. The location is great, about 45 minutes from the airport, near lots of restaurants and food trucks, and right at the edge of Circuito Chico. It was warm during the day, but opening the windows cooled the cabana down in the evenings and overnight. We'd love to return someday and highly recommend Puerto Pireo for a family summer trip to Bariloche.

The surroundings are breathtaking, and the views are incredible. It's a wonderful area and I'd highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was good, though there was no espresso option for European visitors used to having coffee in the morning. The rooms could use some updating, and Wi-Fi coverage could be better for most tourists.

A dream cabin right by the lake, easily one of my top five stays this year out of around 150 places. The superior cabin was spacious and rustic, spread over two cozy floors. The upstairs jacuzzi looking out at the lake is a standout, and the huge fireplace came with free wood. We had a lovely romantic dinner delivered to the room by the capable in-house restaurant. The shared pool was nicely heated, and there was also a jacuzzi and sauna. Massage prices seemed very fair in pesos. My one gripe: breakfast leaned a bit too sweet and sugary, which seems common in this part of the world. For the best deal, book directly on Pireus' own webpage and pay in Argentinian pesos using the blue dollar exchange rate, around 900 as of November 2023.

The bungalow was spacious and clean, with an amazing lake view, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. A nice stay overall. Breakfast, the gym, and Wi-Fi could all be better.
