El Casco Art Hotel

We stayed in the Master Suite for 3 nights. The views are incredible, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant food was really good. We took sandwiches to go on one of our long days out, and they were delicious. But for the price, and for a 5 star hotel, the carpets need replacing or a deep clean. There are huge stains in the halls and rooms. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the town center, so we had to take Ubers to go places. A shuttle into town would've been a nice amenity.

We especially liked ending the day with a cocktail on the grounds by the lake, and the hot tub was lovely in the late afternoon. It's a small hotel, but has all the amenities. Breakfast and the restaurant were pleasant, with solid, good food. The concierge helped with bike rentals and an early departure. This place is a gem, highly recommended!

The staff were pleasant, and the concierge service was good, but this was underwhelming for the money. The rooms were dirty, the carpet was filthy, and lamps were falling off the stands. The food was mediocre. This is NOT a five star hotel, and by North American standards it's no better than a Holiday Inn. I'd call it a 3.5 star experience.

The magnificent lake view was the highlight of our 5 day stay. The reception and concierge were extremely helpful, and had everything we could possibly need at our disposal. We were delighted with the service and amenities, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very tranquil and well worth a visit anytime in Bariloche. We'll certainly be back.
