I booked a suite a day ahead based on the listing, but they showed me a terrible basement room instead. When I turned it down, they refused to refund my three-day booking. I ended up staying at a real three-star hotel a few minutes away for 20% less. The rooms here are tiny and dysfunctional, with battered old furniture and big gaps around the skeleton-key doors. They advertise themselves as three-star, but how does this place qualify? Beware of what I see as misleading advertising and predatory practices.

Very affordable and nice, 5/5. I booked six nights. The bunk beds have curtains, so I can get some privacy, and the front desk people are really friendly.

The dorm beds were clean and really comfortable, but there was no soap in the dorm bathroom, which seemed strange and unhygienic. Soap should be in every bathroom. When we came back one day, our bed had been made and the tip of my charger was bent. It broke off when I plugged it into my phone, and it hadn't been like that when we left, so the person making the bed must have caused it. We got no apology or replacement charger. Breakfast was frustrating too, since we couldn't toast bread ourselves and what had been toasted earlier was hard and stale.

Everything you might want to see in Bariloche proper is within walking distance from this hostel. The private rooms are cozy and stay very warm, even when it's cold outside. Inside, it's modern and bright, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and generous with ideas for things to do and see. Breakfast is delicious and filling. An excellent place to stay in Bariloche.

The staff are so nice and helpful, and the hostel is very close to the city center. I also liked how the beds were designed, since they gave you privacy. It's in a quiet area if you want to cowork. I've stayed in lots of hostels, and this is probably my favorite so far. The rooms and shared spaces were super clean, especially the bathroom, and even the kitchens were immaculate and well equipped.
