The Lirolay Suite is such a beautiful, peaceful place, and that incredible view is really what you’re paying for. The rooms are comfortable and nice, though the hot tub could use an upgrade. Still, it was absolutely worth it to soak there and watch the sunset after long hikes. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Bariloche. That view can’t be beat!

We had planned to stay at the hotel but had to cancel because of something unexpected. The hotel approved a free cancellation through booking, and the reservation was cancelled automatically. Then they messaged us to say it actually wasn’t free: they would keep our payment and give us credit to visit the property instead. We had specifically asked to be reimbursed. They shouldn’t have approved the cancellation as free of charge if that wasn’t the case.

Arturo and the rest of the staff were superb, and the breakfasts were very good. Our spacious one bedroom suite was well maintained, heated well, and had a delightful jacuzzi. The building has a unique design, with amenities including a pool, sun deck and garden. I understand the restaurant across the street is good, because we didn’t enjoy dinner at the hotel. I also expected all suites to have a lake view, but a protected tree blocked ours.

The views are beautiful, and the personalized service at Lirolay suites was the best we’ve had at any of the many five star hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff arranged our excursions and massages, suggested restaurants, and brought us coffee with hot milk every morning, right on time. Can’t wait to return!
