I spent six nights here in March 2025 and had a great stay. Many trailheads on the Llao Llao peninsula were within walking distance or a short bus ride, which made the location perfect for me. After a day of hiking, the indoor pool was a great place to relax. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and the staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended.

The patio is amazing and deserves five stars, but I can only give the hotel two. When we arrived, they tried to charge us extra, saying my reservation was for two adults even though I’d booked for my family of four. I showed the receptionist my reservation and even walked through making another one in front of her to show I hadn’t made a mistake. After several minutes, they honored the price I’d paid. The rooms felt extremely old. The floors creaked so loudly they woke my kids when I walked to the bathroom. There’s no air conditioning, and the windows couldn’t be opened, so we were suffocating. The pillows seemed older than my great-grandmother and were uncomfortable. We ordered a “cafe con leche,” and it was the most disgusting coffee I’ve ever tasted, so we skipped dinner there because we worried it would be just as bad. There were hundreds of wasps in the tunnel leading to the indoor pool. This shouldn’t be a four-star hotel, and it isn’t worth the price. I hope they invest in the interior so guests get value for their money. Receptionist Gisel was very sweet, but Jazmin from reservations wasn’t. I’m definitely not coming back or recommending it.

This is a very old hotel trying to look well maintained, but it doesn’t pull it off. It needs a serious renovation.

It’s a spectacular place to relax and stay awhile, perhaps with a bottle of wine from the south cone area. The mansion has a fascinating lake view and private lake shore, and Llao Llao is a five-minute walk away, with lots of trekking paths nearby. The sauna and pool also look out over the lake. Our room faced the lake, the bed was comfortable, the heating was good, and it was quiet enough for excellent sleep. Breakfast was good, and Raquel, the greeter, was really nice. During our stay, we saw a show by the local chorus. I only noticed the hotel gym as I was leaving. The Wi-Fi needs improvement.
