Babel Botánico

The location is really convenient, with tourist attractions within walking distance, nearby bus stops, and plenty of cafes and bars you can safely walk to at any time of day. The room is spacious and well equipped, and the photos are accurate, though the furniture isn't high quality. We didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed to have the basics, with only a limited number of plates and similar items. We used Uber all the time. Cleaning and noise were the downsides. The rooms had been cleaned, but the floors needed a proper mop and deeper clean, and the towels looked fresh but had stains. With the window open, traffic noise from this busy area is constant; with it closed, things are okay. You can also clearly hear everything happening in the corridor outside the flat.

The neighborhood felt very safe and was lovely, and the location was nice. It's a newer building and good value for the price. A few cleaning details were missed: the floors hadn't been cleaned or mopped, and some of the towels were dirty. Apart from that, it was great value.

The building is newer, furnished well, and close enough to walk to good cafes, restaurants, and bars. But there were several problems. At the main entrance, a homeless person was sleeping right in front of the door, and there was no security on site to keep them away. The host or customer service waited until after the 2:00pm check-in time to send entry details, which arrived at 2:15pm. When I got into the room, loud construction banging was coming from the unit above. I messaged the host, and it took 2.5 hours to stop. Then at 6:30, a large group came onto my floor with loud music, partying and disturbing everyone still asleep. I messaged the host again, but it took a few hours to stop, by which point I was already awake, ready, and had left. On-site security and a host could have resolved some of these issues much faster.

Staff were a big help, and it was a good choice for our trip. The location is very convenient, with lots of 24-hour shops and a large 24-hour supermarket.
