Bue Hotel

The rooms are a reasonable size and the hotel is nice. But the street is incredibly noisy all day and all night, making it impossible to sleep well. Unless you’re deaf, ask for a room on the alley side.

The neighborhood was a real plus: calm, with plenty of apartments and smaller hotels around. The rooms were roomy, the hotel was very clean, and the staff made us feel welcome and were friendly.

The owner seems like a wonderful person and comes from a very educated family. We stayed in Palermo, Buenos Aires, and had a great experience with the hotel and staff. I spotted a $43 difference from the Booking.com price for our five nights by accident, but management reimbursed me right away when I asked. Highly recommended.

We really appreciated how helpful everyone was. The owner and manager lent us a stored-value subway card and walked with us to the station to make sure we got on the right line. Reception also arranged fixed-price car service over WhatsApp, and was still helping us with it four weeks after checkout. The Bue Hotel is well placed in walkable Palermo, with plenty of places to eat within 500 m and nearby mercados for drinks and snacks. They also exchange currency at a rate very close to the “blue” rate. Breakfast was very good, with eggs made to order, cappuccino, and other special requests the kind woman could prepare. Our room was clean and comfortable, though a little small. We were packing for five weeks and three seasons, which made the size feel tighter. It had a private terrace facing a secure inner courtyard, so it was quiet and private. The Bue Hotel was our best hotel experience in Argentina. Highly recommended!
