Hotel Clasico

We liked this stay a lot, and it was a better choice than our other place in Buenos Aires. The bed was great and comfortable, breakfast had plenty of options, and the staff were very nice and customer oriented. You can reach everything within a few blocks, including a walk to the subway station. Just note that the Palermo station is closed at this time.

The neighborhood is fantastic, with lots of good restaurants, and the hotel is nicely decorated. From our room, though, we could hear street noise at night. Breakfast was okay.

The staff were nice, and breakfast was cooked to order, which was good. Coffee was good too, though service could be slow. One young waitress could use more customer service training, especially when guests are in a hurry. We stayed five nights. The location is good, close to restaurants and bars, but the hotel feels outdated, with a small lobby that lacks atmosphere. Our room was small and barely fit our luggage. There was a little balcony, but we kept the doors closed because of the street noise, and the room wasn’t soundproof. The bathroom was nice, but getting the shower water temperature right was very difficult. We stayed at three hotels in Buenos Aires over our two-week vacation, and this one was very pricey for its quality.

The neighborhood was great, with plenty of restaurants, and felt very safe and easy to get around. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Palermo metro, which we used to explore. The room was comfortable and had great amenities, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. There’s filtered drinking water in the lobby, and the staff spoke good English and were helpful. We were really pleased with the stay. Breakfast was a good buffet, with pastries, sweets, toast, eggs, and more.
