The view from the 8th floor of the Mundial Hotel is amazing, and the atmosphere and service were top tier. João, Will and Tiago were kind and attentive. The food looked fabulous, but the flavor was lacking, though the rabbit salad was great. A bottle of Quinta Valado Tinto was reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back for dessert, drinks, and that view.

That gorgeous old building really makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. We stayed five days on our trip to Argentina, and liked our clean, quiet room with its bright red walls. The air conditioner taking up the whole balcony was a small annoyance. Breakfast and service were fine. The location is excellent, and I’d stay here again.

We had a very nice stay, and the family enjoyed it a lot. It’s a beautiful vintage building right in the heart of the city, so expect a few flaws, like the slow elevator. We only found out about breakfast on our last day. It would’ve been good to know at check-in.

The curtains let in so much light that sleeping past 6 a.m. was impossible. The sheets also felt old, and while the room wasn’t exactly dirty, it definitely wasn’t clean. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work on any of the networks. A very unpleasant stay, and I’d look elsewhere.

The location is very good, and while there aren’t many facilities, it has what you need: a clean bathroom and a place where you can safely come and go at any hour. Sometimes there was a damp smell in the bedroom, but leaving the windows wide open for 20 minutes cleared it.
