Devoto Hotel

I stayed here a few years ago and it was fine, but now it’s a disaster and completely neglected. The breakfast is practically nonexistent. They’d be better off offering nothing; these days, few people have just coffee and two croissants for breakfast. There’s no shampoo, and their response, “we’re an economical and eco-friendly hotel,” made me laugh. It isn’t economical at over $120 USD a night. If they don’t provide shampoo, I’ll bring my own or buy it there and use it anyway. Being eco-friendly would mean offering shampoo bars or replacing the little bottles with dispensers. There won’t be a third stay.

I stayed in November. The basics worked perfectly: the sheets were fine and there was hot water. But it was a very basic place, and there aren’t many other options in the area, or they’re very expensive. There was no shampoo or conditioner, and breakfast was coffee with milk and two croissants. The best part is the location. It’s close enough to walk to the main restaurant area, and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe.

We had a lovely stay and got excellent service. A few small things could be improved, but everything was very good overall. We’d definitely come back. Thank you.

The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the staff were very friendly. Excellent service, highly recommended.
