They cancelled my booking on their own, and I had to pay for the first night even though it had been covered by Booking.com during registration. I don't recommend it.

The room was a decent size and comfortable, and the mattress felt a bit like memory foam, though it probably wasn't. The staff are friendly. You have to ring to get through the front door, but they also make you hand in your room key every time you leave. If the door is secure, I don't see why that's needed. It could mean another foreign guest with poor language skills can ask for your key and get it.

We were pleasantly surprised. We only stayed one night, and it was clean enough. We had a wheelchair accessible room, with bathroom facilities and fittings at different heights to accommodate that. Some other reviews had us expecting bad smells and poor bedding, but everything was fine. Having an attendant watching the door 24 hours was reassuring.

A good base for anyone who just needs a place to rest, with an economical price for its location near the city's central tourist spots. There's no dining room service. The staff are very friendly and happy to help guests. I'd suggest changing the bedspreads, as they don't look very nice.
