Golf Tower Suites & Apartments

I was horrified by my one-night stay. There was mold in the bathroom, marks on the sheets, hair across the bed, and dirty footprints on the bed skirts. Bugs kept flying around the lights and the room all night. The bed had just one thin sheet on top and nothing beneath it, and the bedspread looked like it had been reused countless times without washing. The attendants downstairs were the one bright spot: they were kind and helpful, though they don’t speak English. The place is run down and dirty, a terrible combination. Stay at your own risk.

We had a terrible stay, and the place looked nothing like the photos. The rooms and beds were tiny, the building felt very old, and the street was loud. At reception, an 80-year-old man in a bad mood who could barely hear tried to charge us 21% tax on a reservation we had already paid taxes on. We paid because he wouldn’t let us in. Do NOT book here.

The location is the main reason I’m giving it two stars. The building has a beautiful venue and used to be a premium location, but it was disappointing to see its condition. The blinds and walls were dirty, the appliances rusty, and it seems it hasn’t been properly maintained for 30 years. There’s potential here, but the owners need to put money into keeping the property in good shape.

My only real complaint was the weak Wi-Fi in my fourth-floor room. Otherwise, the service was good and the hotel was good too. There’s a kitchen with utensils, which the staff wash, and they clean the room and replace the towels every day.
