Hostel Estoril 3

Wendy made me feel right at home and helped with everything from finding the cheapest laundromat to suggesting things to do around the center. Great atmosphere, plus free coffee in the morning. I highly recommend staying here.

The building is grand and spacious, but staying here felt cold and soulless, and it was overpriced. The receptionists were rude and looked down on you. They played loud music and political nonsense in the background, and the volunteers seemed sketchy. The atmosphere was bad and the surroundings felt dubious. I really don't recommend it. Get your act together, this is not somewhere you can feel comfortable or relaxed at all. Take care!

The staff were friendly, and I extended my stay three times without any trouble. They were always happy to have a chat. I was there over New Year's and liked the first-floor rooms. The cheaper rooms upstairs on the second floor had old beds, no AC, and a really dirty kitchen. Mixed feelings about Estoril, I'd say you get what you pay for. :)

The kitchen is good, and there's coffee in the morning. The location is right in the center, with shops nearby, and the building has an elevator. The red room parties can get loud sometimes, but I still absolutely loved the female dorm and wouldn't lower my rating for that.
