I left early because the room was awful and full of mold. It smelled terrible, and turning on the air conditioner made things worse because that unit had mold too. The manager said they’d painted the room only a few days before, yet it was already moldy again. He offered another room but wouldn’t guarantee it was mold-free, and refused to give me a refund. Later, the hotel replied that I’d been assigned to a room under maintenance by mistake. Even so, they still wouldn’t refund me. I also noticed many reviews mention moldy rooms. Avoid this terrible, moldy hotel.

Clean and comfortable, with an easy stay close to Buenos Aires’s main areas. A great place to stay in the Recoleta area.

We booked three nights and left after the first. I asked to leave early because staying longer felt impossible. The hallway and room had a very strange smell, and the ratings don’t seem deserved. The room was basic, and moisture in the bathroom is making its door fall apart. Every door makes a huge bang, like someone slamming it in anger. We were woken by doors on our floor at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. After the hotel replied, I want to confirm that everything above is correct and was why we requested an early departure.

The mattress is the one thing I’d criticize. Otherwise, it was a good stay. The hotel was clean, the room service was good, and the location was very good. I wanted to book again for the end of March, but it was full. Sebastian and Agustin at reception treated me exceptionally well. They helped me, supported me, and gave me advice like family would. I recommend this hotel.

My travel agent had prepaid for my stay, and the hotel knew that at check-in. After I checked out, they still charged my credit card for all five nights. I’ve emailed several times without a reply, and my travel agency has also tried to get them to refund the money. Two weeks later, there’s still been no refund.
