The rooms are simple but clean. Staff were very friendly, and the location is excellent. Prices are competitive with nearby hotels.

We booked three nights but left after the first. The location was nice, but our room was awful, with a very uneven floor and really old furniture. Poor value for the money.

The good points were the spacious, clean rooms, reliable hot and cold water, and a lovely balcony view. The location is excellent, and the restaurant has inexpensive menu choices. There is also a generator that runs during power outages. On the downside, the Wi-Fi didn't work at all during my five days there. Reception staff kept telling everyone the technician was working on it, but that wasn't true. The process for getting the foreign discount tax was unclear. Breakfast could have more variety, and the old A/C units were noisy.

We'd already paid for breakfast in advance, but the hotel still charged us extra for tea and coffee with it. We had to pay again, and it felt like we'd been cheated.
