Kilca Backpackers Paradise

It’s the cheapest place in the area, so maybe fine if you only need somewhere to sleep, but I wouldn’t expect much. I gave it one star for two reasons: the rooms and bathroom were incredibly dirty, and there didn’t seem to be staff around. I arrived at 12:30 am and spent an hour outside ringing and calling before another guest heard the bell from their room and let me in. I didn’t see any staff until the day I left.

The bathrooms were disgusting, and I never saw any breakfast. The shared rooms were a complete mess, and the receptionists slept in them. If you arrive late, you can be left waiting because the night receptionist has fallen asleep. This was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in.

Very basic and without frills, but pleasant enough. I’d recommend it if all you need is a bed to rest in and a good shower.

I could stay here all my life. It’s a really nice, safe place, and the owner is super friendly.
