We came back to this hotel three separate times and used it as our base while exploring Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. It suited us perfectly: Buquebus is nearby for trips to Uruguay, Jorge Newbery Airport is convenient for flying to Chile, and the Tango show venue and Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop are about a 20-minute walk away. An underground train station is right below the hotel, which made getting around easy. We like rustic, vintage-style hotels and don't mind little flaws if the place is clean and the staff are friendly. This one had that charm. There's also a really interesting museum below the lobby that you can visit for free. It was perfect for our stay.

Getting around BA was easy from this very central spot. The room was modest, with stains on the bed cover, though the rest was clean. The water pressure was amazing, and I hadn't expected the bathtub to have a jacuzzi feature. Good value if the mezzanine layout works for you.

Full of character, with a quirky vintage look that I really loved. It also felt like very good value for a hotel in Buenos Aires. I just wish parking had been included so there were no surprises.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lovely decor and very good mattresses. The hotel is in a historic renovated building on one of the most beautiful avenues in central Buenos Aires. The staff were friendly.

A beautiful historic building with vintage furniture, right in central Buenos Aires and directly across from the Subte. Breakfast was good and prices were affordable. The staff were very friendly, though not everyone spoke English.
