La Taba Hostel

The rooms are basic, and the outlets aren't in good shape. There are lockers for your belongings, and the price is low, so you can't expect much. Hot water comes from a heater that sometimes switches off. There are also a lot of rules to follow, even for a short stay if you're not a permanent resident.

I asked by email whether shared accommodation meant a room for two, since I'm not from the capital, and felt they hadn't paid attention to my question. They replied that they had concluded I wasn't really interested in staying at the hostel and didn't think it was the right place for me to live, complete with exclamation points. I was considering recommending it to 12 friends visiting from abroad in January and to my college groups because the pictures looked lovely. Glad I didn't. The people were rude.

I had a great time there and met people I'd like to keep in touch with. It was a good place to stay.

The location deserves a much better place. They should do a lot of repairs, fix the entrance door, paint the rooms properly, and improve the lighting.
