La Vie Suite Barrio Norte

We had a great stay in this apartment for four. It's roomy and comfortable for a longer visit, with everything we needed, excellent Wi-Fi, and a safe, quiet feel. The host was terrific. There are lots of bus and subway lines nearby, restaurants and supermarkets all around, and a lovely plaza right across the street. The terrace has 360-degree views of the city, and the building's laundry room and gym are excellent.

The landlord was excellent to communicate with throughout. We stayed in a comfortable, very nice two-bedroom apartment on the 18th floor, with plenty of light and fresh air from windows in every room, plus a view toward the medical school. The location is great, with good public transport and everything nearby. The kitchen was short on a few basics like oil, salt, napkins, and matches, but that's easy to sort out. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms and kitchen. Towels, soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, and other supplies were provided, which was a plus. The bathrooms have bathtubs, though there's no grab bar or non-slip mat, so getting in and out can be slippery. Very nice, and I'd recommend it.

The apartment was clean and roomy, and the building is new and very nice. They let us check in an hour early, and both the security and the caretaker's attention were excellent. The problem was the sleeping setup: the box spring was so poor it wasn't suitable for sleeping, and the sofa bed felt like a board for adults, though it might work for children. The guest bathroom also had no mirror. With decent beds, the place would be fantastic.

There were five of us, and staying here was a real pleasure. We had two spacious bedrooms with lovely views, a closet with a full-length mirror, and a private bathroom for each of us. There was also a sofa bed, a usable guest bathroom, and a kitchen. The views from every room were stunning. The apartment felt very secure and was ideally located, with bus and subway stops on the corner. The security guards were incredibly friendly, and they even let me check in early. Nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back.
