M Concept Hotel

The location is good, in the nice San Telmo neighborhood near plaza de majo. Breakfast was decent, with scrambled eggs, cheese, salami, pastries, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. But the hotel and its facilities feel worn out. In room 8, hot water only worked sometimes, and although the Wi-Fi connected, there was no internet. The AC dripped onto the bed and left it wet. Room cleaning was unpredictable, even after we told them we needed it. When I raised the problems with reception, they didn’t seem to understand or want to act. Staff kept passing the issue to someone else.

The breakfast was excellent, with really good quality food. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to the B.A. center, San Telmo, Ovelisk, Caminito, and Puerto Madero. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is brilliant, within walking distance of the main areas and close to a metro station. The lobby and reception were good, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very limited, though I could find enough to eat. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom needs repairs: the sink was cracked, there was some mould around the bath, and the toilet seat was broken. I was on the sixth floor with the windows closed, yet street and bar noise woke me several times. The windows were poor quality. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. You can get hot water at reception, but having to take the lift down whenever you want tea is frustrating. That should be standard in the rooms. The TV only had Spanish channels, and it should have at least one English news channel. A TV and tea and coffee facilities would make the stay more comfortable.

Fernanda at reception is excellent, a real multitasker and multitalent. Everything about this hotel was superb, and we’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Buenos Aires.
