Magandhi Hostel

The kitchen is dirty for much of the day, and a group of teenagers have been living there for a while. They’re very disorganized and constantly noisy. The study room isn’t usable for studying because guests make so much noise. Anyone who really needs quiet has to go to a library elsewhere in the city, wasting time they could spend studying in peace. The manager is friendly, but doesn’t seem to have control over the guests.

The manager was very kind, but that couldn’t make up for a bad stay. The place was filthy and infested with cockroaches. The beds smelled strongly of sweat, and the sheets and pillows smelled bad too. The fan and walls were covered in dirt, and we overheard the cleaning lady making derogatory comments. I hope this helps the owner improve the hostel and warns future guests about these problems. Thank you.

The atmosphere is friendly, with both the guests and staff. It works well when rooms are kept clean and there’s enough space for food and belongings. Everyone needs to respect the house rules so people can live comfortably together. A lot of the negative reviews seem to come from people who barely stayed, or who were asked to leave for their behavior or habits. I had a very good impression of the place.

I stayed nearly two months and was very happy with the location, service, and attention. The place is affordable for a spot in one of Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhoods. There was a problem with my assigned room at first, but they sorted it out right away. The front desk was always friendly and ready to listen whenever I needed help. They try to keep the house clean and have rules meant to make things better for everyone. Even after I left, the staff helped with information and paperwork I still needed.
