Milenia Soho by iPPA

The one good thing was the fantastic bar down the street, with delicious coffee. This place has a great location and could be unique if it were managed properly, but the follow-up on complaints was awful. We found faulty door locks with dead batteries, broken air conditioners and safes, a shower that didn't work, pool water leaking into the apartment, poor sound insulation from street traffic, and broken curtains. The sofas had stains and human hair. The pool loungers were broken and dirty, and the pool water looked incredibly dirty and unsafe to swim in, with alkalinity too high and pH too low. The staff seemed incredibly lazy and were only reachable on WhatsApp since there's no reception. They also charged more than they had quoted and wouldn't take responsibility. Avoid this place.

The location was very good, but the stay was terrible, one of the worst places I've ever stayed. There were no curtains for the whole week, and they never fixed it. The blanket they put up temporarily fell down, so I had to rig something up myself. The fridge was horribly noisy, and my request for fresh towels got no response either.

I stayed at Milenia Soho by iPPA in July 2025. The apartment looked nothing like the photos. It felt cold and unwelcoming, needed cosmetic work, and even the doors squeaked loudly whenever they moved. A little oil would help. My ground-floor apartment had large window-doors opening onto the inner courtyard, but they were broken and couldn't be closed properly. Anyone from the courtyard could have walked in. I might have felt safer if I hadn't seen five shady-looking men by the entrance. There's no reception or staff on-site, and everything goes through WhatsApp. The replies were mostly quick and helpful, but communication stopped completely overnight at the most critical moment. I understand people need sleep, but 24/7 support had been promised and expected. This felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I've decided to avoid places without a physical reception in future.

We spent every night on the rooftop, which was great for catching the last bit of sun. Room 302 was quite exposed to views from several neighbours, so a shade on the bathroom window would help. The superior studio was a good size and had a comfortable bed. We moved into a studio for our last day because of late checkout. It was lovely, with so much natural light, and we would have been happy staying there too. The fitness and functional rooms looked like good spaces, though we didn't use them.
