Milhouse Avenue

Getting around Buenos Aires was easy from this well located hostel. The rooms were clean, with decent AC and fans, bed blinds, and two small terraces. Both the room and bathroom were cleaned daily. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Adriana sorted our Boca tickets and arranged a tango show, and Natalie and Augustin were great at the front desk. One woman pressing the door button on Wednesday 18th in the afternoon was rude and unhelpful.

I've stayed in over 100 hostels across 61 countries, and this is the best by far. For the price, the quality in Buenos Aires is awesome. You can walk to the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and several other tourist attractions. The facilities were tidy, clean, and well kept. Rooms were spacious, with curtains on every bunk, a large locker, AC, and a fan. The kitchen had plenty of equipment, including two stoves and two sinks. The rooftop was beautiful, with views of one of BA's most iconic buildings. There were lots of activities, some free and some paid for, and all the staff were kind, funny, and entertaining. They made my stay outstanding. Fun fact: an Irish guy recommended the hostel when we met in Cordoba.

I stayed for quite a few days and got to know most of the hostel. The people were amazing, and there were loads of activities. The volunteers and staff were great, especially Caro, Cami, Alex, Jeny, and Vitoria. I'd recommend it to anyone and will definitely come back.

It was easy to meet other travelers in the common areas and at the social activities, thanks to the friendly staff and fun vibe. The hostel was clean and central, close to public transportation and good food spots. The dorms felt organized and clean, and the WiFi was fast. The food and drinks were good, and the place was affordable with a backpacker-friendly feel. I had a great stay and would happily return. I'd recommend it to solo travelers.
