Modern Studio in San Telmo - Paseo de la Cisterna -405

I was extremely disappointed. The Booking.com photos and the promises of breakfast and hotel amenities convinced me, but once we'd paid, the reality was completely different. For five nights, we paid a little over $500 for an apartment that felt like a dump. It looked nice at first, then every time we moved something there was more grime. Nobody had even swept under the bed. There were handprints all over the walls and doors, a filthy toaster, a coffee maker full of mold, bloodstains on the pillows, and comforters that smelled of sweat, including sweaty bottoms and feet. The bathroom was dirty and smelled like urine. I was traveling with a baby and ended up buying bleach because I couldn't believe how filthy the place was. I'm including photos, though the reality was a thousand times worse. The tablecloth hid a table that was torn up, the chair cushions were ripped, and the terrace table was just legs. They advertised breakfast included. If you rent an aparthotel instead of an Airbnb apartment, you expect at least some service, but there was none. Towels were provided only once, and you had to pay if you missed getting them. Breakfast arrived whenever they felt like it. I asked for a later delivery because I have a baby, but they never came later. What they did bring was a paper bag with squashed croissants, poor quality coffee and tea packets, and sugar, but no sweetener. My husband is diabetic, and they showed zero consideration. They message you when you arrive, but you don't actually meet the person greeting you. A security guard takes your fingerprint, and if you ask him anything, he says he's security, not management. Nobody answers other questions either. Have a problem after they've charged you? You don't exist. I'd have paid half as much for an ordinary apartment or a regular hotel in a better area. Never again.

The funniest part was that I used to live right above this place. I really enjoyed visiting the museum, which is free. You just need to find out when there's a guide and drop by. It's full of history, since it was one of Juan Manuel de Rozas's houses, and you can grab a drink or something to eat next door. Such a nice apartment!

I highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, and the building feels modern and comfortable.

We had a wonderful morning and afternoon here. The apartments were spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, with a double bed, roomy bathroom, and kitchen with a fridge, electric kettle, and coffee maker. There were two Smart TVs too. Outside, there was a terrace with a changing room, pool, tables, and lounge chairs, plus a lovely view from another terrace with armchairs and tables under a pretty overhang. Highly recommended.
