We’d stay again. The location is good, breakfast excellent, and the staff very helpful. A couple of room improvements would help: suites could use a bigger sofa or another chair in the living area, and there weren’t enough charging points. Neither sink had a plug, and the bathtub only worked as a shower.

We arrived with a baby cot that we’d requested well in advance, but the hotel didn’t have one ready. They put us in a room with two separate beds, which made sleeping with the baby impossible. After we argued, another room suddenly became available and they found a cot. The worst part came when I left my earrings in the room. When I returned, they were gone. I had to ask repeatedly for the hotel to take action, filed a police complaint against them, and still nothing happened. Awful experience. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! I believe the cleaning staff stole from us.

We had booked two rooms and asked for a relatively early check-in, but on the morning of Nov 25 the manager made us wait in the lobby from 12:30pm until 2:15pm. He showed no manners or humanity. The rest of the staff were very nice, but that didn’t make up for nearly two hours in a lobby under construction with three kids, the oldest just 5. The hotel is also very old, and the rooms smell bad from the bathrooms.

We turned up with friends without a reservation, hoping to find somewhere to stay. Florencia first explained that the hotel was full, but asked us to wait while she tried to fit us in. She eventually found a solution for all of us. Her kindness and professionalism made a real difference.
