NH Collection Buenos Aires Lancaster

Matias at reception really made the stay for us. He was welcoming and friendly every time, and ready to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a little too dark for my taste. I'd happily come back.

Spacious, fully updated rooms in an elegant classic building with parquet floors. The location is good, and breakfast was good too. Everyone was friendly, from the front desk, including Jenlys/Liliana, to Ezequiel on security. I'd recommend it.

I ended up staying elsewhere after a frustrating mix-up. Around 6:30 AM on Friday 3rd, I arrived without a reservation because my flight was delayed. Matias at the desk explained the options helpfully and understood I was considering a room that morning plus three more nights. I checked another hotel, then came back ready to take Matias's offer. His shift had ended, though, and a young, slim, blond-haired front desk employee without a name tag told me it was against policy. That directly conflicted with what Matias had just explained. He didn't try to clarify or offer another option, and when I asked his name so I could refer to the interaction, he refused to give it. The inconsistent information and lack of professional help or basic accountability were disappointing. I took my business elsewhere, where another hotel accommodated me right away without any trouble.

Lillian/Lily, the guest relations manager, was especially helpful. She took our requests into consideration and even offered a later checkout if we needed one. She seemed professional and efficient, and is a real asset to the NH group. The hotel is discreet and very central, near the shops and restaurants in Puerto Madero, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
